Things to do?

Hello Westerdale ;D,
Some friends and I are coming for a wedding this week, we were wondering if you could tell us any information about what is in Westerdale?

i.e. places to eat?

There isn't really anything like that in the village.
You can get a meal at the Lion Inn on Blakey ridge to the South or in Castleton there's two pubs and a small cafe, also a small supermarket and shop.
Hope the wedding goes well.
It's been very windy today with a few showers but nothing too serious!

I see they've managed to put up two marquees for the reception this morning despite the wind!
